Something like that can cause us to explore into the Mishina saga story.įrom my belief and perspective, I firmly believe that Kazumi is alive. There are a bunch of evidences that point out my theory as to Kazumi being alive.

To start off, we, as the audience and players of the game do not know what happened to her body. The last time we saw Kazumi in the story, she was fighting with her husband, Heihachi. After their fight, Kazumi lost and was defeated by Heihachi and shortly after that, she was 'put down' by Heihachi himself. However, if you pay close attention to the end of their end, when Kazumi reverts back to her normal form right after being knocked out by Heihachi after the fight, you can see that she instantly got back up in her devil form and attacked him.

However, Heihachi was able catch her before she was able to strike an attack and began choking her to death. Kazumi reached out her hand to him as if she's reaching for life and wanting to be saved. Heihachi ignored it but nonetheless, it seemed like he 'snapped' her neck causing her to 'die'. After that, we don't see what happened to her body afterwards.Īfter that, he just drops her down and just turns around and just remains silent. This goes to show that Kazumi didn't receive any kind of proper closure to her character.

Sure, she was seemingly killed but there's another piece of evidence that supports my theory as to Kazumi being alive.Īnother thing you would want to look at is towards the much earlier Tekken games. I think around Tekken 1 or 2, when Kazuya and Heihachi fought against each other, Heihachi eventually won against his son, Kazuya.

Kazuya was unconscious after being defeated by his dad. Then, Heihachi took him to the volcano and threw him in there to eliminate the devil gene. After that, he left while thinking it was gone already but was terribly wrong when Kazuya, 'resurrects' and awakens after being thrown into a volcano. I'm aware that some people said that he made a deal with the devil or it had something to do with the devil gene within his blood that allowed him to live and survive through that fall and the volcano itself. Now, looking further even back to the fight between Heihachi and Kazumi, something similar happened to Kazumi that paralleled with her son, Kazuya. To explore more deeper depths of my theory, what if Kazumi survived or in other words, was 'resurrected' after being choked to death by Heihachi? I think that Heihachi hid her body somewhere deep within his dojo while she was in a comatose state or maybe he might've thrown her body down to the volcano and walk away like nothing happened. Kazumi probably woke up and survived from both the choking of death, the fall, and the volcano itself and climbed herself up out of there and seek shelter somewhere. It's likely that she's been absent in the games because she was in the mountains where that volcano was training as much as she possibly can to seek vengeance to Heihachi.
